Interviews

One of the best parts of the job was giving interviews! As a Peanutter, I was only one of ten people in the whole company who could speak on behalf of the brand. This was a big shift from my previous work as a news writer/ editor, but I think it made me more well-rounded.
Event Week
On the road, we followed a calendar of assigned events/ locations. But we had a very special week where it was my team's task to plan all of our own events! This included selling our NUTmobile experience and figuring out logistics with the organizers. Here are two major events I found in St. George, UT!
The St. George Marathon best been hailed as one of the top 10 Most scenic runs and the Most Organized run, according to Runner's World. So I knew these folks would be great to work with! Mr. Peanut ran down the entire line of people at the start and I got to hype him up! "Give it up for your favorite shell-eb-rity!"

St. George Streetfest
Fri, Nov 01 76 Tabernacle St, St. George, UT
Each month, St. George has a First Friday street festival. From my research I could tell they had quite the variety of vendors, from retail shops to axe-throwing! The organizer, Ed, was thrilled to have us and we even bonded over grassroots marketing; he used to drive the Red Bull Truck!

Similar to our special event week, our team had one day per month where we had to find our own local event to work at! We pitched our presence to the contact and ironed out remaining logistics such as entry/departure times, parking, etc. Here are a few that I coordinated!

Art-ober Stroll
Fri, Oct 11 935 N Yosemite St, Stockton, CA
The Art-ober Stroll caught my eye because the organizing group, Yosemite Street Village, was working on downtown revitalization and shedding Stockton's crime-ridden image. This was their first art walk. So we had chalk/ coloring pages for the kids. Highlight was meeting, Viola, a little girl who drew a fun rainbow NUTmobile!

Enchanted Holiday Stroll & Tree Lighting
Fri, Nov 22 7817 Enchanted Hills Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM
I pitched this event because I thought Mr. Peanut would be a nice addition for all the kids excited to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. Traffic was non-stop! I had to organize people in a line to make sure everyone got their shell-fie!
